Do Not Go To Bethlehem to Find The Obvious

This week on From the Housetops, Brother Matthew goes to Bethlehem, taken from the Leonard Feeney omnibus, Christianity, the religion which holds that God became man, entered our ranks, assumed our nature, and was born in Bethlehem in a temporal generation who was born in eternity in an eternal generation, the most different child and the most different mother who have ever existed, revealing sanctifying grace as the fundamental benefit Christianity has to offer the world.

Mary was conceived free from original sin, pre-sanctified at the first moment of her conception, standing beside the little Jesus, true God and true man, who from the first moment possessed the beatific vision and was born for the salvation of the world, so join our minds and hearts with the simple shepherds, adore him, and reflect on the sublime gift of sanctifying grace.
