The Great Saint Joseph: Powerful Intercessor
This week, we honor St. Joseph, the faithful guardian of Mary and Jesus, and a powerful intercessor for all who seek his aid. As the last of the Patriarchs, he was chosen by God to protect the Holy Family, ensuring their safety and well-being. His care for his family on earth continues in eternity as he assists those who turn to him, especially for a happy death.
St. Joseph’s influence is evident in miraculous events, such as the construction of the Loretto Chapel staircase in New Mexico. After a novena in his honor, a mysterious carpenter appeared and built a spiral staircase with no central support using wood of unknown origin. Over a century later, it remains a marvel of engineering. Let us turn to him in all our needs, trusting in his powerful intercession. St. Joseph, pray for us!
